About:

The Scott Lee Brolsma Memorial Scholarship was created in 2023 to honor the legacy of one of the best friends our aquatics community has ever known.  The scholarship is awarded to one male and one female recipient each spring who possess the same selfless and community focused attributes as Scott.  

The Scott Brolsma Memorial Scholarship is available to those pursuing:

  • 4-year collegiate bachelor’s degree
  • 2-year collegiate associates degree 
  • Technical trade school certifications 
  • Graduate level degrees 
  • Continuing education and certificate program

Qualifications:

  • Hamilton County, Indiana resident
    • Preference Noblesville, Indiana
  • Affiliation with competitive swimming 
    • Preference to those who compete or have competed in USA and High School Swimming 
    • Preference to those who are or were a part of the Noblesville Swim Club and Noblesville High School programs
    • Preference to those whose intention is to continuing swimming competitively at the collegiate level.
    • Preference to those that have been or are members of the Noblesville Adult Swim Team (NASTI)
  • Affiliation with the Forest Park Aquatic Center
    • Preference to current or past employees 
    • Preference to current or past volunteers 
  • Academics – Students should have at least a “C” (2.0) GPA
    • Preference to students pursuing a degree that is agriculture related 
    • Preference to students attending Purdue University (Nora)
    • Preference to students attending Xavier University (Claire)
    • Preference to students attending North Dakota State University (Scott)
    • Preference to students attending the University of Minnesota Crookston (Scott)
  • Community involvement
